Walkin’ down the stairs, my bladder was suddenly full, and my back started achin’.
"You okay?"
I felt like I might have an accident. "There’s somethin' in here, alright."
"Okay. Well, what we’re looking for is in that corner." Lily pointed across the dark room with the little flashlight she was wearin’ on her head. She looked silly, but I sure was glad she was wearin’ the thing.
“Wait. There. What is that?” I asked.
There was this weird bed-lookin’ thingy on wheels sittin there. We had to walk around it. I wanted to run, but I didn’t want Lily to think I was a chicken.
“It’s called a gurney. Seriously, did you live under a rock?”
